Protesters invoked Hamas’s name for the October 7 terror attacks and chanted “From the River to the Sea, Palestine will be Free” and “There is only one solution, Intifada revolution.” Marchers targeted Goldie, a Jewish-owned restaurant, chanting “Goldie, Goldie, you can’t hide; we charge you with genocide.”
Glorifying Hamas

On February 5, 2024, Abulhawa joined an action at the Pennsylvania State Capitol demanding divestment from Israel. She addressed protesters on the Capitol steps. The protest, organized by PPC along with JVP Philly and CAIR Philly, resulted in activists unlawfully entering the rotunda, with many arrests. Signs at the rally read “Israel is a Terrorist Organization.”
Support for Terrorists
As of December 2024, Abulhawa’s Instagram bio said: “🔻long live the res!stance.” The inverted red triangle is a Hamas symbol first used in propaganda videos during the October 7 massacre. On December 4, 2023, she posted a video glorifying Hamas terrorists, including paraglider attacks that killed over 360 people at the Nova Music Festival. The video also praised Hamas leaders Ahmed Yassin, Yahya Ayyash, and Yahya Sinwar.
